Why I started Scout
After years in retail, one thing has stood out.Boutiques don’t struggle because their teams lack talent or taste. They struggle because owners are being asked to make high-stakes buying decisions without a clear framework to guide them.
Without that clear understanding of your numbers, it’s natural for over or under buying to creep in. We know this leads to stale inventory markdowns, and narrow margins.
All of this on top of paying rent and salaries? It’s daunting.
