How it all beganI’m Julia Hays — a life long lover of fashion with over three decades of hands-on experience in the industry.
I studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology, then built my career across South Florida, New York City, and now Alabama. Along the way, I’ve seen retail from just about every angle — across regions, markets, and business models — which has shaped how I approach consulting.
Over the years, I’ve helped open, buy for, and manage two New York City boutiques, spent 20 years as an account executive for multi-line showrooms, and worked for the past decade as a retail business consultant.
That experience means I can see the whole picture of the retail and wholesale landscape, and how purchase planning affects a business’s health.
